Former Soldier, Vincent Hancock, has won his 3rd Gold Medal in skeet shooting! Watch him set a new Olympics record by watching the video below.
NBC Sports reported, "After a disappointing performance in Rio, Vincent Hancock regained his throne as the Olympic champion in men's skeet shooting in Tokyo, becoming the only person in history to win three gold medals in the event.
"Many have taken to social media to congratulate Hancock. The 3x Olympic Gold Medalist, and4 x World Champion, sharing many of the congratulations to his story. You can find him on Instagram at @vincent_hancock.
Hancock was previously a member of the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU). 1st Lt. Amber English, who is currently a member of USAMU, also captured a Gold Medal for the USA. Similarly, English broke a record in her sport. Hers was for most targets hit in an event. The two competitors have appeared together to celebrate their domination of the sport. Soldiers of the USAMU has won a total of 24 Olympic Medals in Olympic Games. Congratulations to these two American heroes!
So far, the US has won the most Olympic Medals. Of the 31 total, 11 are Gold, similarly 11 are Silver, and 9 are Bronze.
