Earlier this month, Firefighters in Cambridge, MA battled a blaze that consumed 8 homes in the area; some badly damaged, others reduced to ashes. The devastating fire displaced several families and left them with nothing.For one woman, her losses included her two cats, who didn't have time to escape the blaze. Or so she thought.Firefighters digging through the rubble in the aftermath managed to find both furry friends alive and well, and return them to their owner. In the face of overwhelming loss, knowing that all the members of your family are safe is so important. You can see and hear the joy and relief on this woman's face as she carries her cats to her car.Of course, not all families are as lucky as this woman.
