12 Gauge Arrows

We’re not sure what to think of this guy yet, but he’s made himself some 12 gauge arrows, and that’s enough to peak our interest. Apparently this YouTube dilettante has welded some cylinders with firing pins inside of them to the ends of some arrows, and can’t wait to show the world his new exploding arrows. He seems to have just gotten home from a luau, and didn’t even have time to change before he started rolling on his little back yard experiment. That’s how excited he is.https://youtu.be/0dmhyWvhjDI?t=5m3sWe’re only speculating as to what his thought process was, but here goes nothing:“The camera is charged and the arrows are made! There’s absolutely to time to change out of my Hawaiian tourist shirt because Mom is coming home soon, and she won’t be happy that I blew up the case of Mountain Lightning and watermelons that she just bought for tomorrow’s luau. So, let’s get this started because I’m supposed to be roasting a pig with some pineapples right now!”[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="770"]

Canyons

12 gauge arrows[/caption]But we can’t give this dude too hard a time for not being as “operator” as some of us, because he’s obviously not even old enough to drive, let alone enlist as an EOD guy. So, we’ll check out his little project and see that he took all the precautions that a 15 year old would. He’s set back from the road just a little bit, but not far enough that you can’t see or hear the driver of every car that passes. Safe enough, right? Now let’s kill some cans, or “soda bottles” as he calls them. Where is this dude from, where cans are called bottles? Most of his video is comprised of him explaining why they’re not working like he’d like them to, so we’ve taken the liberty of starting the video right before the two or three rounds that DID work. If you can get over the loud clothing, the obvious amateur nature of his execution, and the poor planning, the actual exploding arrows are pretty entertaining. It was a clever idea, and we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for someone who makes these things the right way and knows how to use them. Until then, enjoy this skinny little joker.[mwi-cat-listing cat="94" ppp="4" cols="4" desc="false" type="view" btn_color="black" ]
