If you like watching stuff blow up, the Fourth of July is probably one of your favorite days of the year. New Years is also one of those must-have-fireworks holidays.

Although there are great fireworks shows all over the world, we like to keep it domestic. Here are some of the biggest, baddest, fireworks shows in the country.

If your city didn’t make the list, it's probably because you just didn’t make enough noise last year. That’s okay though, you can fix that. Just don’t blow off any appendages.

This list is based on personal experience, expert feedback, and what the cities have stated about their plans for upcoming extravaganzas. Holidays, fairs, sports games were all considered. So if you want a light show, hit up:

  1. Boston, Massachusetts
  2. New York City, New York
  3. Washington, District of Columbia
  4. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
  5. San Antonio, Texas
  6. Orlando, Florida
  7. San Diego, California
  8. Orlando, Florida Nashville, Tennessee
  9. St. Louis, Missouri
  10. Las Vegas, Nevada

Honorable mentions:

  • Chicago, Illinois
  • Dallas, Texas,
  • Los Angeles, California
  • The US military bases around the world

What do you think about the list? Have you been to any of these shows in past years? Is there a city you think is more deserving? Sound off below!
