In every community, there are heroes who dedicate their lives to service, putting others before themselves. Eric Morrison was one of those heroes—a professional firefighter who spent 16 years answering the call of duty. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy of courage, compassion, and love for his family lives on through his son, Henry.

Fire Fighter Eric Morrison

Eric Morrison wasn’t just a firefighter; he was a man who embodied dedication and hard work in everything he did. Throughout his 16-year career, Eric took immense pride in serving his community, and he found a true home at the fire department.

Beyond his life at the firehouse, Eric held a degree in Business Administration and ran a successful residential construction business. But perhaps his most cherished role was that of a father to Henry. From teaching him life lessons to sharing special moments, like their hunting trips and bedtime music sessions, Eric’s love for his son knew no bounds. His legacy of hard work and positivity is captured in one of his most enduring beliefs: “Every day is a good day,” a phrase that guided Eric even in his final moments. It’s a lesson that his family, especially Henry, carries with them as they move forward.

Henry Morrison is a testament to his father’s love and guidance. Now in the 8th grade, Henry is excelling in all his subjects, with a particular passion for math and science. Outside the classroom, Henry has a zest for adventure. He enjoys riding mountain bikes, traveling, hunting, and spending time at the lake—activities that remind him of the cherished moments he shared with his dad. Recently, he has taken up tennis, adding another challenge to his already busy life. With dreams of attending medical school to become a dermatologist, Henry is determined to make a difference, just like his father.

As he prepares to move on to a private high school that will challenge him academically, the need for financial support has become even more important.  This is where the support from Folds of Honor and Grunt Style’s End of Watch program comes in, offering scholarships to ensure that Henry’s dreams don’t just remain dreams—they become reality. Grunt Style, through this special partnership, has created an opportunity for all of us to get involved. By purchasing a custom Grunt Style shirt, you can directly support Henry’s education and honor Eric’s legacy. These limited-edition designs represent more than just clothing; they symbolize a commitment to helping the families of those who gave everything in service to others.

All profits from these shirts will benefit the family and others just like them through the Folds of Honor scholarship program.

Eric Morrison’s legacy lives on through the words he left behind: “Every day is a good day.” Even in the most challenging times, Eric’s unwavering optimism continues to guide his family. It’s a reminder that through community and support, hope shines through.
