Mom Furious at Son's TSA Patdown

It's no secret that going through airport security is obnoxious. Some even claim that the TSA's methods to "screen" passengers are an invasion of privacy, and often not effective. But one Texas mother is speaking out after a screening gone wrong, where her son was patted down for an extended period of time, and then detained, she claims, for no reason at all.Jennifer Williamson and her son were hoping to take a flight out of the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. While going through security, TSA agents claimed that an "alarm" set off by a laptop in their luggage prompted a pat down. But according to Williamson, there was no alarm - and no alternative to the pat-down that they performed on her son, Aaron.The now-viral facebook video shows the agent patting down the young man. He is calm and patient with the agent and complies fully as areas like his underarms and waistband are checked from both the front and the back. Willamson says that the procedure was excessive and that she had specifically asked for an alternative procedure because Aaron has a sensory processing disorder; a neurological disorder that prevents sensory signals from being received and organized into a proper response in the brain."They detained Aaron for well over an hour at DFW. (And deliberately kept us from our flight... we are now on an alternate)," wrote Williamson. "We were treated like dogs because I requested they attempt to screen him in other ways per TSA rules... Somehow these power tripping TSA agents who are traumatizing children and doing whatever they feel like without any cause, need to be reined in."
