It's that time of year again my friends. Veterans Day has come and gone. As a result, many of us felt compelled to try on our old uniform. Nostalgia quickly gives way to regret if that blouse is a little tight. Don't worry, it happens to the best of us. However, it is not a life sentence. I recently dropped 40lbs and can fit(mostly) in my old dress blues. Here are 3 east tips to get you back into fighting shape.
1. Accountability
The first thing I had to accept was that I was eating like an @sshole. I couldn't blame my bad back for me eating Taco Bell 6x a week. So I got a calorie counting app to fix that. You don't have to use it every day. Maybe just use it for a few days to get an honest assessment of your habits. Although, it doesn't do any good to only eat salad for a week while you log calories. Let's not lie to ourselves ok? Once you figure out a fair number of calories to consume, you can be more aware of what you're putting in your body.
