The history of firearms is a rich one, and that history has made its way into the White House. Quite a few Presidents loved and kept guns; some were also NRA members. Thomas Jefferson's gun collection was also highly extensive, and one of the many hobbies that kept his interest throughout his life. Jefferson was also interested in the mass production of firearms, a revolutionary concept in his lifetime.
