Not every shot is under the perfect conditions, the clock is ticking and the only objective is-- to execute at the highest level. 200 teams have been chosen from an elite group of world wide competitors. These shooters come from all over the world. From all walks of life, amateurs and professionals, recreation and exhibition shooters. They each look to prove themselves amongst the best, working in 2 man or woman teams as they endure the 10 stages of the Vortex Mammoth Sniper Challenge.

About Mammoth Sniper Challenge

The Vortex Mammoth Sniper challenge is currently held annually on U.S. Army Base Fort Gordon in the beautiful state of Georgia and is a three day physical and mental endurance competition. Teams will engage in long range targets in simulated sniper hides. From Navy Seals to school teachers, carpenters to combat veterans, participants from all walks of life compete in this competition. The Mammoth Sniper challenge is where we separate the good shooting teams from the great shooting teams.

THREE DAYS

During the 72-hour evolution, contestants must hike/ruck more than 35 miles, lugging everything they need in their packs – food, shelter, guns, ammo, plus any other necessities they need to contend. Each team must meet the minimum time requirements set for each ruck and follow precise safety protocols at all times, or that team is instantly disqualified.

35 MILES

Teams will enjoy hiking 30 plus miles over the lovely Georgia clay found on US Army base Fort Gordon, Georgia. Conditions often change in a matter of minutes, competitors must pack and prepare for every weather situation.

14 RANGES

Teams will engage in long range targets in simulated sniper hides. Each team will complete 14 unique stages engaging known and unknown targets while negotiating stress inducing obstacles. These stages are designed to test each competitor's discipline while managing maximum stress.

ONE WINNER

There can be only one winning team, and they are required to defend their championship title the following year with free entry to the Mammoth Sniper Challenge. See you there!
