Basic Training Story 4685

Alright, I went through basic in 2014. Can't remember what week it was, but we were doing live fire exercises where the drill sergeant walked you down the range. I was in the pool of soldiers waiting to go up to the line. I'm sure you all know this, but I'll say it anyway. This was a live fire exercise, so we all had loaded mags.As this one broke down, shitbag female walked in front of my platoon, one of us called out to her: "How about you keep your weapon pointed down and downrange."Up to that point, she had been casually holding her rifle horizontally, pointed away from the range, toward us. Once that guy called out to her, I shit you not, she shouldered her rifle, aimed at us and said "pew, pew".One of the drill sergeants saw this and lost his damn mind. Last I saw of her that day, she was being marched off the range, hopefully toward a smoking. A few days later I found out that her only punishment was not being allowed to do the live fire exercise.She wasn't smoked, and a few weeks later, she graduated.Read more Basic Training Stories here.
