Kane called over the flight attendant as volunteered his first class seat to the veteran. The veteran gladly accepted and went back to his former seat during the flight to thank Kane again.[caption id="attachment_11681" align="aligncenter" width="576"]

Patrick Kane on flight gives seat to veteran[/caption]Flight attendant Terri Truss was who Kane asked to broker the exchange and she later tweeted out a picture of herself with Kane calling him a "class act."“He said, ‘There’s a soldier on this flight,’ and I said ‘Yeah, OK?'” Truss later said in an interview. “He said, ‘I would like for him to sit up front, and I would like to give him my first-class seat, and I’ll go to the back.’ I’m like, ‘Are you sure?’ He said yes, and I was like, ‘Perfect, great opportunity.”It is the smallest of gestures that have the most lasting effect.
