Meet Cody Colchado. He was born in Kingsville, Texas and was hard of hearing at birth. In high school a football accident left him partially blind, on his way to being totally blind later in life.Feeling down? Watch what this man can do and stop your personal pity party. Cody has plenty of reasons to sit and feel sorry for himself but he doesn’t. He gets it done.Cody is a competitive powerlifter, was named 2015 World’s Strongest Disabled Man-Standing Division and named 2016 America’s Strongest Adaptive Athlete. In this video, he is competing in a World’s Strongest Man type competition in which he is moving heavy sand bags from one oil drum to another. He uses the sense of touch and sound in order to navigate the course and is able to do it quickly. We all get down from time to time and let the pressures upon us mount up, that’s okay and completely normal. But remember, there is inspiration all around us. If you need it, look for it and be inspired to be the best you.
