What more can we say about Clinton than the title already suggests? Against overwhelming odds, engaged with foes who held the high ground, Clinton fought back tenaciously, turning the tide of the attack through leadership, combined forces coordination, and expert marksmanship. The thing that strikes us the hardest about Clinton is the raw and unadulterated emotion he speaks with when he talks about how those who did not come back from that fight alive. Not to take away from any other Medal of Honor recipient, they are all unique and incredible in their own way, but Clint...has an uncanny way with words. When he speaks of those he lost we are moved to tears. He is in our opinion one of the best examples of his brother's keeper. Clinton Romesha remembers and holds the banner of his fallen brothers high and with the utmost honor.Multiple times Clinton exposed himself to enemy fighters with the advantageous ground, RPGs, and recoilless rifles. Time and time again he did this and yet he still says others are more deserving. Many men say this. We believe them, because why would they lie. When Clinton says this, we not only know in our minds that he means what he says, but we can feel it in our hearts as well. Few men have said it as eloquently as Clinton said in an interview referencing his fellow soldiers; "I know it's not for me at all...this is their medal, I've just been selected to wear it."

Clinton Romesha

Clinton Romesha fought with ferocity, vigor and resolve, inspiring others to repel the attack and do what needed to be done. Not only was he instrumental when bringing his weapon to bear on the enemy, but the addition of several more soldiers that he inspired truly made him a force multiplier.
