Look, we know technically Han Solo isn't an American, but Harrison Ford is and that's close enough for us, so for today, we're gonna say that Han Solo is an American as we tell you this story. Getting kicked out of the Imperial Academy, Han Solo wasn't good at following orders or being in lockstep with everyone else. Han was the celebration of liberty and individualism. Hell to the yeah! Having made a name for himself in fighting the tyrannical government by freeing slaves and smuggling. Great thing about Han is how damn great he was at being a pilot and all around scoundrel. Now that you're all caught up on Han Solo and how cool he was for freeing slaves and generally being a pain in the ass for the Empire, let's talk about why you should be more like Han Solo. See our story is a familiar albeit controversial tale. Han was relaxing, avoiding Imperial attention on a planet in the outer rim, Tatooine. Like most scoundrels we can relate to, he was helping himself to a drink. But also like most scoundrels we know, he couldn't help but find himself in a bit of trouble in said bar.Han was cornered by a bounty hunter, who foolishly produced a pistol and pointed it straight at Han. Look, here's the deal, a bounty hunter who said he was willing to kill Solo, with a pistol pointed at him, most people would reasonably assume that your life is in danger. So what did Han do? Han shot first!
