For our science geeks out there, you're likely already aware that combining alkali metals like Sodium and Potassium with water can create quite the awesome explosion. We think that's pretty cool! But what if you took it a step further, and filled a Hollow Point bullet with the metals and shot them at water? Enter the Backyard Scientist.

Like some kind of creation from Dr. Jekyll's lab, these guys inserted various alkali metals in some .45 ACP bullets to conduct the experiment.
