Royal Navy Fires Warning Shots at Spanish Vessel Harassing US Sub

Our brothers in the Royal Navy proved they have our back, when they fired flares at Spanish patrol boat as it attempted to cut across the path of the USS Florida not once, but twice.

Navy
The fast patrol boat HMS Sabre fired warning shots across the bow of a Guardia Civil vessel as it twice tried to cut across the path of USS Florida during an incursion into Gibraltar’s waters. One Naval source said: "It just got too close and when it's a nuclear submarine, you get twitchy any way. If you have responsibility for the protection of it, then you are going to take action much quicker than you might normally. The force protection measures worked and the vessel went away."

This is another great example of how our Allies have our backs, and if you get too close, we'll let you know what you're up against. Let us know what you think in the comments section and on our social media pages!
