There is an idea behind Sons of Liberty Gun Works, it flows from history. When the Persians came to Greece and demanded the surrender of the Spartans, King Leonidas told him "Molon Labe." When the British came for the weapons at Lexington and Concord, they were met by armed patriots who refused to bow to a tyrant. Again in the province of Georgia at Fort Morris, Colonel McIntosh wrote in reply to the British demand to surrender "As to surrendering the fort, receive this laconic reply: COME AND TAKE IT!" When Colonel Domingo de Ugartechea ordered soldiers to the Texas colony of Gonzales, they were refuted by armed men saying "Come and take it".Throughout history, we have seen that tyrants are not swayed by words, rather they are swayed by armed peoples with a beautiful devotion to liberty. At Sons of Liberty Gun Works, there is one common bond that unites this "family", the love of liberty and the defense of it. Hence the reason they build defensive rifles. These are not just any old rifles though, these tools are meticulously built to a standard, far exceeding your off the shelf brands, for roughly the same cost.It would be easy to dismiss the motley crew of assorted characters with their long beards and rough talk, but when you look closely, these men and women are some of the best, if not the best gunsmiths in the country. They put their name and their reputation on the line with each rifle built. They know that one day, that rifle may be the last line of defense, the last lifeline in an all-out battle for their right to life and liberty.Whether it's your life, your liberty or both on the line, you can rely on the rifles produced by Sons of Liberty Gun Works to perform, just as you do, unfailing in the face of adversity and the threat of tyranny.Read more stories of American Grit here:
