We live in a day where more and more vocal minorities are clamoring for our "dangerous" rights to be taken away. Liberty, as we've always known it is a dangerous entity, it follows that some of the rights that we are born with and guaranteed or insured by our Bill of Rights may rub some folks the wrong way. The first amendment protects the speech that you may not want to hear. The second amendment protects that right that we are free to be armed to protect ourselves from any sort of enemy who would wish to do us harm, the third amendment protects us from having our homes overtaken by the government. We could go on, but that's not the point of this piece. All of these rights and those not mentioned are important. Which is what the students from across the nation Wednesday had to say. In response to the protest for gun control, students walked out in support of the 2nd Amendment.
