The Good, the Bad, the Ugly of Call of Duty

With so many games to choose from it'd be hard sledding to pick out the best and worst of the Call of Duty franchise. So rather we're going to pick the good, the bad, and the ugly. We're probably not going to run down every single game ever, rather we'll pick the good and the bad, and the ugly. There are quite a few "meh" games in there that could go either way depending on your personal preferences, we'll try to avoid them.GoodCall of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (1 and 2)The first two games of the Modern Warfare series were amazing. Just look at the excitement for the remastered versions. Many people to this day rank them as the number one and number two on their best Call of Duty games. Given the ability to use an AC-130 gunship to smoke bad guys, this CoD set a precedent that was hard to follow.

Call of Duty: Black Ops (All Black Ops Titles)The campaign plus the multiplayer earn Black Ops the rights to be one of the best in the Call of Duty lines. No matter what, we'll always keep playing Black Ops.BadCall of Duty: GhostsWhat makes Ghosts so bad is that it was almost really good. Almost being the keyword. A few simple additions here and there, you could have had a really great game. But they missed such obvious pieces of the puzzle that we have to smack them down. Everything about this was just almost.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3It was getting old. The story had been told in episodes one and two, the recycled plot was just a reach. Multiplayer was alright, but the "new game feel" had been lost.The UglyCall of Duty: Infinite WarfareAfter the release of Titanfall, this game just felt horrible and sluggish in multiplayer. Sometimes the best advice that can be given is to not fix what isn't broke. In our humble opinion, the makers tried way too hard to give us something new and made it ridiculously over-engineered and complicated.
