Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages, we're about to drop truth bombs on your candy asses. It is if anything, one of the most important facts of life. The truth is offensive. Boom. No matter how you slice it the truth in all of it's splendor will offend people. It might offend you. We've gotten a little bit scared of the truth lately. All around in fact. You can see it on Facebook community groups all the way up to national media. The truth will rock your f***ing world if you're not prepared for it. See, the truth about truth is that truth doesn't give a shit about your political opinions, your religion, your money, your car, your nose, the size of your feet, or the size of your house. Truth, when it can be found will always always always never not be the truth. For instance, it is true that everyone on this Earth will at one point die. We will either die of natural causes, some freak accident, some grievous crime, or what have you. It is entirely random, with very little chance for your interference. Sometimes you may be able to affect it and other times you may not have any say in it whatsoever, but we will all die. That kind of stings a little bit to some people. We're sure that someone on the internet could and would argue that truth because it's offensive to tell them that they will die. It doesn't stop it from happening. The truth is, in another case entirely that people, when confronted with a truth that they don't approve of or don't like, will react vehemently with utter outrage and hatred. It doesn't really matter who, we could, if we wanted to drop dimes, name names on here like a bunch of snitches, but the truth is...snitches get stitches. We all probably know several people who react like this. We see it all the time on Facebook, Twitter, or even Instagram (except on Instagram we're just busy checking out all the Insta-Models, some of them are kinda cute). If we as a society want to continue to grow and be damn badass and awesome like we have been since wrecking shop in both world wars, we need to be ok with letting the truth be offensive. We need to be ok with being challenged and confronted with truths, and even ideas that we've never felt comfortable opening ourselves to.The truth is offensive, but only you can decide to not be a little bitch about it.
