The Warrior Gaming (GMR) Foundation Mental Health and Gamming Summit ended with the team sent by REGIMENT capturing top honors. On their way to victory, they had to beat off the hungry E-Sports teams sent by the U.S. Navy, and the U.S. Army.
The event was hosted at Howard University, in Washington D.C. and included and appearance by the Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Denis R. McDonough. The event also featured workshops, and presentations hosted by the V.A. and various veteran organizations. Members of the REGIMENT team, traveled from all over the country to compete in the event. Their team consisted of mostly Veterans, and a few active duty competitors.
