Hillary Clinton's IT Guy Asked Reddit to Delete Emails for "Very VIP Client"

Paul Combetta was an IT specialist that worked with Hillary Clinton while she was Secretary of state. He also helped wipe her servers. Now, allegedly, there is evidence that he used online forums as an information source that helped him do just that.A post made to 8chan shows several posts made by a user with the name "stonetear;" the poster links this username to Combetta on multiple internet accounts, as well as an email address that he uses. The posts ask for information regarding email deletion; one reads:

[July 24, 2014] Hello all- I may be facing a very interesting situation where I need to strip out a VIP’s (VERY VIP) email address from a bunch of archived email that I have both in a live Exchange mailbox, as well as a PST file. Basically, they don’t want the VIP’s email address exposed to anyone, and want to be able to either strip out or replace the email address in the to/from fields in all of the emails we want to send out.I am not sure if something like this is possible with PowerShell, or exporting all of the emails to MSG and doing find/replaces with a batch processing program of some sort.Does anyone have experience with something like this, and/or suggestions on how this might be accomplished?

"Very VIP" email might be related to Clinton

The most interesting part of this new discovery is the date when they were initially sent out - within 24 hours of a recent New York Post report that showed Combetta trying to send server data to Clinton Executive Services Corp., a logistics-handling service for the Clintons. The timing certainly is eerie, and his allusions to his client as "someone you'd recognize," don't help.Combetta, along with another IT consultant Bill Thorton, both pleaded the Fifth in regards to questions about their actions regarding the server scandal last week.Politics aside, the sheer fact that a "vetted" IT government worker used a public forum like this to ask for advice raises even more questions about how secure our information really is.The fact that he had to ask in the first place doesn't inspire confidence, either.
