Let the Veterans Administration hear your voice
With more than 21.8 veterans, we are finally being given a chance to voice what we want to see from the Veterans Administration. Most veterans have a story about the VA that shows the concern for the level of care provided or lack there of. Vets Advocacy and We Are The Mighty, are working together to help make changes to the VA. Stemming from a lawsuit concerning the West LA VA campus over misuse, a survey has been made for veterans to be heard on what they are looking for in future from Veterans Affairs.
While this survey includes questions that will be used during the redevelopment of the West LA VA, this is a chance to send a message to the VA of what should be done across the nation. This will not be a quick process, but as a community we have an opportunity to send our views and ideas straight to VA Secretary Robert A. McDonald.
I realize that this will not be the instant change that we are looking for, but as a whole if we don't stand together to be heard, nothing will be accomplished. Please complete the survey, and share it for others to complete. For more information about #VATheRightWay and what the goal of this project is, go to VATheRightWay.org.
