Police receive 911 threat

The Denver Channel[/caption]Police in Aurora, Colorado received a 911 call Sunday 6 September, 2015 threatening Law Enforcement Officers in the Aurora and Denver area. From ABC 7 Denver:AURORA, Colo. - A warning has been issued to local law enforcement because of a threatening call made to Aurora Police.The call came into the department on Sunday afternoon; the information was immediately relayed to officers and neighboring departments."Party stating that he was going to shoot any police officer he saw by themselves," a Denver Police dispatcher is heard saying alerting other officers. Denver Police alerted other jurisdictions after learning of the threat.Sources tells 7NEWS that patrol procedures have changed because of the threat. The changes are focused on officer safety. We asked the department if the recent ambushes on officers in Chicago, Texas and Las Vegas factored into Aurora's decision to change the department's methods.
