The Grunt Style Golf Classic

A Fisher House is "a home away from home" for families of patients receiving medical care at major military and VA medical centers. The homes are normally located within walking distance of the treatment facility or have transportation available. There are 65 Fisher Houses located in the United States and Germany.There are many, many, many military charities out there. Some we know don't have the best reputation and they seem to exist more to get themselves around celebrities and other famous people. It's always a question when you are working with a charity who says they support the military if they are actually supporting the military and veterans and their families or if they are just supporting themselves and their fat salaries.

You do not have to ask that question when it comes to Fisher House. Fisher House currently has a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator. Over 94% of all funds received are spent on the programs and services delivered by Fisher House.

When you donate money to Fisher House, you know that you are actually donating money that is going to help veterans and their families who are in need. What better way to support a worthy charity then getting out of the office or taking the day away from work to go play golf?

Orchard Valley Golf Course in Aurora, IL is the site of the 1st Annual Grunt Style Golf Classic. One of Chicagoland's top five courses, Orchard Valley Golf Course is an 18-hole, 6,800-yard, par-72 championship layout open to the public. Featuring four sets of tees, this beautiful course offers the appropriate challenge to all skill levels. Orchard Valley has been distinguished by Golf Digest Magazine as a 4 1/2 star facility.There are sponsorship opportunities available for the event and of course, we'd love to have you come out and play.
