Never Forget with the Middle East Conflicts Wall Memorial: The ILMFR

The Middle East Conflicts Wall Memorial honors our fallen soldiers by name. Here at American Grit, we can't think of a better drive for awareness than to pay tribute to the fallen heroes of our military and that's why we're so happy that this wall and the support it brings the families of those who have lost brave soldiers is something we can salute today and every day going forward.

The first memorial constructed was located in St Anne, IL, the hometown of Captain Ryan A. Beaupre, one of Illinois' first casualties in the war against terror. In early 2004, the Middle East Conflicts Wall Memorial was built featuring the names of all fallen soldiers resulted from the Middle East conflicts since 1967. On June 19, 2004, the wall was officially dedicated to those who are honored.

The memorial, located at 200 Riverfront Drive in Marseilles, Illinois, was built with donated material and labor. It is the first of its kind in the history of the United States. It honors our fallen soldiers by name while we are still in the war that caused the lost lives of our brave soldiers.

The founders, Tony Cutrano and Jerry Kuczera, spearheaded this project to ensure that those sacrificing their lives for our freedom were given the proper recognition for the selfless service to our great country. The Middle East Conflicts Wall Memorial was built with donated material and labor.

It took 20 years to Honor our Vietnam Veterans. Almost 60 years to Honor our World War II Veterans. The names on the wall represent our fallen heroes from such diverse locations as Panama, Lebanon, the Balkans, Grenada, Somalia, Haiti, USS Cole, USS Stark, Terrorist attacks in Italy, Greece, Scotland and the current conflicts in the Middle East.

The ILMFR (Illinois Motorcycle Freedom Run) is a 501(c)3 organization that funds the preservation and unfortunate growth of the Middle East Conflicts Wall Memorial, honor our fallen heroes and support veterans and Gold Star families.

The Purpose of the Illinois Motorcycle Freedom Run is to show our brave servicemen and women, and their families, that we support them, and to honor fallen heroes. The route is lined with Americans waving American Flags and paying tribute as you can see from the photos in this story. If you're ever anywhere near this or any other memorial honoring the fallen heroes of this country, we urge you to visit and pay respect to those that fell that we might all live the blessed lives we lead today.
