As Californians are now once again allowed to own and purchase high capacity magazines, we thought it only prudent and wise to inform all of our readers about the benefits of high capacity magazines. For those of you already in the know, you have the knowledge that high capacity magazines do more for the weapon than just increasing ammo capacity. High capacity magazines are an integral part of the firearm that ensures it's functionality as well as it's degree of "looking super cool like in the movies." We want to make sure everyone follows the rules though when it comes to firearms, so after ensuring that you're following the five weapons safety rules...Treat every weapon as if it is loaded, never point a weapon at anything you don't intend to destroy, keep your finger off the trigger until you're ready to fire, keep your weapon on safe until you intend to fire and know your target and what lies beyond...putting on your safety equipment, reflective PT belt, condom, eye pro, and really super cool gloves, you're ready to go.Alright. So the first thing that happens with a high capacity magazine is you change your rifles rate of fire from semi-automatic to fully semi-automatic, just by inserting the high capacity magazine. This function will not work if you use a low capacity magazine as the rounds are less powerful. More bullets definitely equal more power and the ability of the round to cycle the bolt much faster, hence full semi-automatic.Range. If you've got more bullets, that means more power and more power means more range. You'll probably be able to reach out and touch someone with your high capacity magazines inserted at ranges of close to three miles, obviously.Accuracy. More bullets means more weight, more weight means not as much recoil for follow-up shots.Stopping power. We already addressed this, duh, more bullets equal more power, like Tim the Tool Man Taylor! These bullets are now anti-armor and can stop a tank dead on its tracks. But most importantly is the ability of the rifle to be more reliable. Your rifle will never give you up, nor let you down, never gonna run around and desert you, never gonna make you cry, never gonna say goodbye, never gonna tell a lie and hurt you.In case you didn't catch it already or need jokes explained to you, Happy April Fools Day.P.S. The weapon safety rules aren't a joke. Don't be that guy/gal at the range who violates them.
