My Box: "The Predator"

The Predator is an interesting box as it serves a specific need but doesn’t require an incredible amount of prior knowledge to be able to use traps or spear effectively.

Spearhead Knife

The spear that converts from a handheld to a long reach hunting tool in seconds is great. Having the ability to hunt in places where I can’t carry is a nice option to have, and this spear is really great quality.

Snare and Trap

I spend as much time in the woods as I can and I definitely see myself adding the SOG spear and snares to my pack. The snare wires are high quality and can take a beating. I tried out the snares in my backyard and finally caught the trash can bandit that’s been plaguing me for the last 2 months. Thanks AO!

Karambit Knife

I really like this karambit knife, I had planned on using it for quick skinning or field dressing. After spending some time with it I’m really enjoying how easy to maneuver it is. The thumb hole grip makes it easy to use and because of the light profile easy to use. I like it so much that it’s my new everyday carry blade.This kit also comes with a patch and a comic-style guide on how to use the products. The patch and manual are a cool bit of extra stuff. The manual is pretty funny but also gives detailed instructions on the use and care of all the stuff in the box. I’ll be wearing my predator patch on my new stocking patch hat from Grunt Style I just got.

Conclusion

I would definitely buy this box for 39.99! Either of the knives is worth $40 dollars in my opinion, plus the snares, patch and all the other cool things that came in my box. The best part for me personally is that these are all things I would have bought had I come across them at the store. The difference is that I don’t have to shop for all this stuff and I don’t have to pay retail! It all gets delivered to my door no muss no fuss. Let's be honest here! Wondering what you are going to get is damn exciting.
