Cooking with Grunt Style: Candied Bacon
On this episode of Cooking with Grunt Style, we will teach you how to make glorious candied bacon.
Prep Time - 5 minutes

INGREDIENTS:
Brown Sugar - 1 pound per pound of bacon
Black Pepper - to taste
Thick Cut Bacon - Enough is never enough, but use the 1 pound bacon to 1 pound brown sugar ratio
Secret ingredient #4 explained below
GEAR:
Grill
Charcoal or Propane tank, depending on the grill
Large mixing bowl
Tongs
STEPS:
1. Prepare your grill for direct cooking and mix your brown sugar and black pepper in a large bowl.2. Add half strips of bacon to the bowl, tossing the mixture to coat the bacon. Cover the bowl to allow the brown sugar to liquify, producing a glaze over the bacon. While you wait it's time for special ingredient #4, so crack open your favorite brew.3. Start loading the bacon onto the grill; flipping it frequently to avoid burning and enjoy more of ingredient #4.4. The bacon is done when it is a deep red color, approximately 15 minutes. Ensure you enjoy this quickly as anyone that smells it may try to steal your candied bacon. However, at this point your ingredient #4 container should be empty and can be used to ward off the would-be thieves that will try to steal your candied bacon.
