With the current state of the economy, Americans are becoming increasingly financially conscious when it comes to where their hard earned dollars are going. And, rightfully so.

So, when there’s an option to support a great cause like Veteran charities, AND get something nice for yourself in return, it’s a win-win situation. Here are two great options for you, to do just that:

1. Support the COD Endowment

In the game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, you can purchase a bundle called the Valkyrie pack. Where you get a custom Roze skin outfitted in a flight suit, looking-very Maverick from Top Gun. It also includes a series of weapons and other items signature to this pack. The idea behind it was to,“ honor female veterans and the substantial contributions they make every day in the military.”

A fun fact about this bundle: Roze, was the very first female operator ever, to be chosen by Call of Duty, to represent our women of the military

as an Endowment operator. The purchase of this pack raises money for

Veterans through Call of Duty’s charitable efforts.

A bit about the Organization: Call of Duty Endowment was created specifically to support Veterans. Its mission is to: “Help veterans find high quality careers by supporting groups that prepare them for the job market and by raising awareness of the value vets bring to the workplace.”

2. Supporting the Grunt Style Foundation

The Grunt Style Foundation, is a national nonprofit that provides vital resources to veterans, such as food, housing, access to mental health and wellness care services.

Through purchases of Grunt Style clothing, gear, or donations directly to the organization, they provide support to veterans as they transition from active duty members, to civilian life, as that can pose a series of difficulties to them, both mentally and financially.

The Foundation is committed to ending and preventing veteran homelessness and hunger, and supporting veterans and their families when they need it most. Recently, the Foundation delivered 38,000 pounds of free food and commodities to military families near Fort Campbell, KY.

Put your dollars where it matters! You can change lives with the support of either of these great organizations. Now, let’s help give back to our service men and women and have fun while doing it.
