The Air G.O.A.T.

Boy oh boy oh boy! Have we got a treat for you today. While the Raptor may be the undisputed fighter champion of the world right now, the G.O.A.T, the greatest of all time was in fact and still in the opinion of many still is the greatest air to air superiority fighter of all time...the F-15 Eagle.While configured for the air to air mission, the F-15 Eagle was responsible for 104 air to air kills and while having a whopping goose egg as far as losses go. If you think you're hot shit with your 5:1 K/D ratio in Call of Duty, the F-15 makes you look like a little bitch with a minimum of at least 104:1...it could get better.In fact, the F-15 is so badass that one time, the plane was landed by an Israeli pilot who had seemingly...misplaced one of his wings. Awesome plane, bad situational awareness. How do you not realize one wing is...not intact? Must be one hell of an aircraft is our only conclusion. The Eagle is also responsible for the interception of the infamous runaway Mig 23 Flogger whose pilot ejected, but the plane somehow continued flying into western Europe.The F-15 was designed in the late 1960s and the F-15 first entered operational service with the United States Air Force in 1976 and has been ruling the skies ever since.While the F-22 and F-35 are the future with their stealth designs and extensive electronic warfare suites, the F-15 was and perhaps still is the workhorse of the United States Air Force.Production of the F-15 variants is set to end in 2020, but given the success of the design and the winning record it brings to the table, we wouldn't be surprised if it decided to hang around for a few more years. After all, don't fix what isn't broke, are we right or are we right?With such a long and storied history, an impressive combat record to boot, it's hard to deny that the F-15 Eagle is the G.O.A.T and if not, then one of the top contenders for that title!
