Let us tell you what. If you're not a Marine, your opinion is just...insufficient, to say the least. It's great to be a Marine. Despite being the smallest branch, we are by far the most deadly, the most well known, and quite honestly the best looking. You can bitch and moan, but no other branch can take a guy who is a solid 2 on the 1-10 scale, put him in Marine Corps dress blues and suddenly turn him into an 8, 9 or even a solid 10. We have seen some of the most legitimate bumfugly dudes in dress blues walking around with ladies who they shouldn't even be in the same room with (no they weren't hookers either, we checked). It's great to be a Marine because quite honestly, every country talks a lot of shit until the United States Marine Corps shows up. High altitude-low risk bombing runs, while effective, are not nearly as intimidating as some mean looking dude kicking in your door shouting profanities that you can't understand with a weapon aimed at you. Again, even the wimpiest looking guys and gals once earning the title of Marine, look like some hard-charging bloodthirsty warriors.

Look, it's just great to be a Marine. Growing up everyone has been told,

"You can't have your cake and eat it too."

Well in the Marine Corps you can. As a Marine, you look good, you feel good and you put the enemies of America on notice. As much as we've accomplished post-Marine Corps career, the title Marine is what's going to go on our headstone.[caption id="attachment_18519" align="alignnone" width="750"]

It's great to be a Marine

U.S. Marine Sgt. Bryan Early, a squad leader with 1st Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, provides security for Marines moving to the next compound during a patrol in Helmand province, Afghanistan, Dec. 22. We're still pushing that the office be re-named to something extremely moto and ridiculous because, why the hell not.Semper Fi, it's great to be a Marine!
