South Park does a great job of making fun of the right people. Mercilessly and belligerently, it’ll be the crudest show you watch but you’ll be glued to the screen.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a celebrity, religious figure or group, a subculture of people. South Park will come for you with accuracy. These are 5 of the best times South Park burned someone or a community as a whole.

- I don’t care what your opinion on Britney Spears may be, whether you think she’s crazy or not, you should be capable of recognizing that the attention the media gave her was vastly inappropriate from such a young age. South Park's episode where Britney is made to be a sacrifice for America isn’t a mockery of Brit, but a scathing indictment of the American media.

- PC Principal in general is a great character, considering he’s a mockery of every white knight that’s trying to overcorrect, thus making themselves into the asshole they swore to defeat all along. If you can’t laugh at this character, it is probably because you’ve become him. It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy folks.

- The fantastic easter special episode with the temple of the rabbit, mocking the popularity of the Da Vinci Code. At the same time sheds a bit of light on the reality that there is a serious problem with some aspect of organized religion. People were big mad about this one.

- Father Maxi’s ‘Pitfall’ Adventure, including another criticism of the church and the scandals of predation upon children that continues to emerge by some of the people granted the trust of a community. This was an opportunity for religious and nonreligious people to unite against a common enemy.

- Cartman pretending he has Tourette may seem relatively ridiculous without being too deep. However it speaks to a lot of the reality of some really sad people who use their screens as shields, lying about things that have happened to them, and getting attention from it.

Now if your favorite moment didn’t make the cut, that’s just because there were so many to choose from. The sickest burns are the ones we carry in our hearts.

Bob down in legal said it would be a good idea to remind everyone of the South Park disclaimer:
“All characters and events in this show --even those based on real people-- are entirely fictional. All celebrity voices are impersonated ... poorly. The following program contains coarse language and due to its content it should not be viewed by anyone."
