The United States Strongman (USS) has been monitoring herculean feats of strength since 2014. They provide structure for a contest of pure power. Men and women travel both near and far to show their strength, grit and determination at these competitions. Unfortunately, COVID-19 canceled many events in 2020. However, cases are thankfully falling, and many events are back on schedule. The USS has officially sanctioned another event to crown America's Strongest Veteran.On July, 24th, an Veteran who wants to test their stuff can join the competitors. America's Strongest Veteran (ASV) will take place in Fredericksburg, Virginia. America's Strongest Veteran[/caption]Iron Podium, who specializes in strongman competition management, stated weigh-ins for the contest will occur the day prior to the event. As well as the morning of ASV. Furthermore stating, "All competing athletes must have a USS membership to compete."The event's Facebook page shows nearly 30 contestants have already signed up. Furthermore, it encouraged people to sign up before July, 2nd to receive a t-shirt and challenge coin. The group also announced, "Army Vet, Pro Strongwoman and world record holder for block press Jessica Fithen will be a guest judge at this years comp."Spectators can also purchase tickets to attend.
