Not Work Material

At least that's what an Instagram star...I think that's what it's called, said earlier this week after her account was deleted. Sigh. Look being a model is a thing. Being really really really ridiculously good looking can pay the bills, but usually...usually that kind of work is reserved for people like Hansel (he's so hot right now). Hell...even being an Instagram influencer can pay the bills, but like all jobs and careers, it can end and you have to find work elsewhere.That's what's called BEING AN ADULT. It's hard, but not nearly as hard as it seems. But woe to Jessy Taylor of Tampa Florida, who is living in Los Angeles, who might have to do something other than...I guess look really really good looking on Instagram ( one less 'really' than Hansel and Derek). Just want to point out, that we're not here to shame her previous career. If that's your hustle and you're not hurting anyone, you do you boo. Rather we take exception with the fact that the video has gone viral and we have to talk about it because all it really is...all it really is, is someone got fired.She got fired. And that sucks. But you know, a lot of people in this world have gotten fired and it wasn't the end of the world. I mean, shit Jessy you lamented that you used to be a sex worker and now you were doing this as a hustle...so obviously you know how to get out of a bad situation, why this tantrum? Get yourself out of a bad situation again.Whether Jessy is in the right or the wrong regarding why several people were reporting her account as spam, I don't really know. I also kind of don't care, not about her losing her job, but about her tantrum. People get fired and find new jobs every day, it's just how the world is sometimes. I do know that telling people you're not cut out for a 9-5 job and that you should be able to go back to being paid for being pretty, seems just a bit...spoiled? I think spoiled is the right word. If you've got the skills to be paid enough to support yourself on Instagram (something I can't do, you don't want to see pictures of me in a bubble bath) then surely, you have some reasonable job skills that would work out in a 9-5 job or at least fake it till ya make it.This is coming from someone that's been fired before, so...maybe open a school for kids who can't read good.Pitter patter.
