Russia Warns U.S. Not to Intervene in Venezuela

Venezuela, the embattled socialist (cough communist dictatorship cough) country seems to be reigniting the Cold War between Russia and the United States. It is President Maduro versus Juan Guaidó, the opposition leader who has proclaimed himself the rightful president of Venezuela amid protests by the people against Maduro's corrupt authoritarian rule.Russian President Vladimir Putin who we all know is just the epitome of consistency and no double standards (sarcasm, cough major sarcasm) is quoted as saying the following regarding the influence of the United States and other powers outside of Venezuela"emphasized that destructive external interference is a gross violation of the fundamental norms of international law"You mean a gross violation of international law like when you seized Crimea illegally, committed other acts of war against the sovereign nation of Ukraine and nobody said a word? For all the propaganda that RT puts out, we still know that Russia doesn't want to start shit with the United States. As far as we've seen in Syria, the actuality of their combat prowess compared to their propaganda shows a great level of disparity. In February of 2018, Russian "mercenaries" (it's in quotes because there is evidence that the company they work for, Wagner, is basically controlled by the Kremlin) led a group of pro-Syrian government forces in an attack against a small force of U.S. forces.The result of that battle was a shit load of Russian "mercenaries" and Pro-Assad forces being dead.Back to the present. Almost a year later, Russia is telling the U.S. not to get involved in Venezuela...or what? You'll send a bunch of your boys to get smoked again?
