1. Senator John McCain has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer. The glioblastoma is associated with a blood clot that McCain had removed from above his left eye last Friday.

3. A veteran and former Jamestown police officer was awarded more than $170,000 in pay, damages, and legal fees after accusing the department of unfair treatment over his service in the Army Reserve.
4. The Turkish state news gave away the locations of 10 U.S. military bases and outposts in northern Syria putting U.S. troops potentially in harms way. The move is believed to be motivated by the Turkish government looking to keep the Pentagon from arming a Kurdish militia that the Turks see as a direct threat.
