Salman Abedi has been identified as the name of the man who set off the explosion at Manchester Arena on Monday night. He died at the scene.British police are raiding homes looking for accomplices to Abedi in the attack, according to Reuters.ISIS has claimed responsibility for an explosion outside of Manchester Arena that has now killed 22 people and injured 59. No evidence has currently been provided to support this claim.One of the victims was an 8-year-old girl, Saffie Roussos. One of the teachers at her school, Chris Upton, said:"Saffie was simply a beautiful little girl in every aspect of the word. She was loved by everyone. News of Saffie's death in this appalling attack has come as a tremendous shock to all of us and I would like to send our deepest condolences to all of her family and friends. CREDIT: SWNS.COM[/caption]Although no other details on the attack were given, ISIS claimed through a statement that was posted on the terror group’s Telegram channel said that a “soldier of the caliphate” was able to “plant explosive devices” at the Manchester Arena, according to a US counter-terrorism source.Many of the attendees of the event were children and teens. At least 12 children under the age of 16 were taken to nearby hospitals with serious injuries. Just after an Ariana Grande concert had finished at the arena, an explosion was witnessed outside the venue in a public area. The singer took to Twitter later that night, saying, "broken. from the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. i don't have words."
