Angry White Man Class

Ok...so like if they are studying like...Adolph Hitler or Joseph Stalin/Nikita Khrushchev or Benito Mussolini...like totally cool. Those were some angry white dudes that killed at least several tons of people like literal tons of people. We doubt that's the intent of the course though. Let's dig a little deeper and see just how f***ing stupid shit can get.The university says and I quote, "This course charts the rise of the "angry white male" in America and Britain since the 1950s, exploring the deeper sources of this emotional state while evaluating recent manifestations of male anger."I'd just like to ask one question...what quantifies as...anger per se? Let's see if they explain it."Employing interdisciplinary perspectives this course examines how both dominant and subordinate masculinities are represented and experienced in cultures undergoing periods of rapid change connected to modernity as well as to rights-based movements of women, people of color, homosexuals and trans individuals."So...being masculine is the same as being angry? Interesting concept. Let's dig more.Christopher Forth is the professor for this class and author of several books on manhood/masculinity. Except...there is a problem. Chris is a white dude. How can we trust him not to get angry as he exercises patriarchal control over his classroom and the grades of his students? Doesn't seem to be...exactly impartial if you ask us.Before anyone asks, I'm not mad...or maybe I am...or maybe not, I can't really tell given the loose definition of being an Angry White Male. I'm really confused at this point. Does admitting I'm an angry white male make me brave, which is typically an attribute of being masculine...therefore making me angrier and angrier each time I admit my own angry white male culpability? This whole cycle is just very confusing, I want to take a nap.Can someone help?
