BREAKING: Istanbul Airport Explosions: 28 Dead, 60 Wounded

Three bombs have exploded at the Ataturk Airport in Istanbul, Turkey. Police have been reported to have exchanged gunfire with suspects and videos showing people screaming "get down" as gun shots ring out have been posted on social media.Authorities have stated that no bombs exploded within the airport.

At least 28 people have been killed and 60 others wounded in the attack on Istanbul Ataturk Airport in Turkey, Istanbul Gov. Vasip Sahin told Turkey's state-run news agency TRT. It is unclear if the total includes the bombers. Another report, from semi-official news agency Anadolu, said six of the wounded are in critical condition. A total of 49 ambulances were sent to the site.Ataturk Airport is "one of the most secure airports in the world," CNN senior law enforcement analyst Tom Fuentes says. But the airport has been "very overwhelmed for several decades with terrorism from PKK."Read more from CNN
