Baker, Florida - The 2017 Precision Rifle Series opener was held this past weekend with a two-day precision shooting match hosted at Core Shooting Solutions. The 2nd annual “Accuracy International Long Range Classic” brought the country’s best shooters to compete in a 10 stage match where the shooters had to shoot the course of fire twice, with time and equipment restrictions enforced on the second day.Grunt Style Team Shooters, Spenser Barry, Joe Caley and Tim Jensen competed while the fourth member Bryan Morgan, supported the March Director Ryan Castle throughout the two-day evolution. This was the team’s first time shooting together as a squad.[caption id="attachment_10738" align="aligncenter" width="960"]

Strong Side Weak Side were a few of this year's stages that proved to be difficult for the competitors. It challenged them to apply fundamentals and patience under stress. Spenser Barry, callsign musclehampster, was leading the Grunt Style Team in points by the end of the first day. Spenser came into this weekend's match after placing 1st in the Hollywood Tactical Gun Club series match. Grunt Style Team Captain, Joe Caley. “The AI Classic was a great match to kick off the 2017 PRS season and to introduce the Grunt Style Team as well as the brand to the competition shooting sport.”

Following the match Tim Jensen, Chief Operating Officer of Grunt Style and Team Member, announced Grunt Style’s partnership with the Precision Rifle Series and the up coming Grunt Style PRS match in September. “Grunt Style is excited to be a part of the community and has put together a team of stellar shooters that not only represent the best of Precision Shooting, but also exemplify our ethos of Pride in Self, in Military and in Country.” said Tim.Grunt Style has partnered with the Precision Rifle Series to provide all of their members with a custom designed shirt as well as any new member that joins during the 2017 season.
