You're training to fail. Harsh right? F***in right it is. The ability to kill someone usually is. When it comes to fighting, when it comes to violence, when it comes to the moments of struggle where you're not sure if the person on the other end will stop if you don't win...harsh is the reality that you're facing. When you're in the weight room doing your squats, or MMA gym, or gun range...if you're not training to be lethal, then you're wasting your time. If you're not thinking about how you would finish the fight for good, you're preparing yourself to lose.Oh AG, how do you know this? We know this because we know that we don't know what is in our attacker's mind. We know this because we've seen back alley petty squabbles turn deadly in a matter of seconds. We've seen a mild disagreement over garbage dumping behind a house go lethal before you can blink an eye. There are people in this world who will kill you and not even miss a beat. Call it different upbringing, call it nature versus nurture, call it whatever the f*** you want, it doesn't matter. What does matter is that if you're going be training to be able to fight in any way, shape or form, you need to know how to make sure the person you're fighting stays down for good.Obviously, don't go out starting fights and killing people. You're not Dexter or Deadpool. But you if you do prepare for the eventuality that you'll be in a fight, but stop short of preparing to end that mofo's life (and listen carefully because this is important, legally that is) SHOULD IT BE ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY, then you're basically ensuring that they can get up and kill you.Tons of good men and women have been killed by people they've already shot several times, why the hell do you think Special Operations Command researched and developed the .458 SOCOM round after Mogadishu? Because you can be killed by someone you think you've already defeated.Food for thought mofos, food for muthaf***in thought! Be harder to kill by being good at killing...or at least training to be.
