It's getting closer and closer and closer and even closer. America's birthday, the 4th of July. We typically celebrate in many ways, but fireworks always seem to be the crowd favorite, especially when we've all had too much to drink. Weird how the use of semi-explosives and alcohol are highly, highly promoted on this one day. It's like our nations birthday begs us to be irresponsible."It's our party and we'll get drunk and shoot shit into the sky if we want to, shoot shit into the sky if we want to!" With that being said, let's run down our list of our favorite Fourth of July fireworks.1. Mortar/Artillery ShellsThese are always going to be number one on our list. They are loud, they go high, and they make really pretty sparkles for everyone to "Ohhh, ahhh" over. Plus we like the sound of explosions because some of us were 0351 Assaultmen in the Marine Corps and we like to hear the BOOM!

2.Bottle RocketsBottle rockets don't have quite as much flair as the Mortar and Artillery shells, but they are still fun to shoot at your friends after getting super drunk shoot up into the night sky as we celebrate the birthday of the Red, White, and Blue! Not very accurate for "other" purposes, but still fun.

3. Roman CandlesIf you really want good fireworks to shoot at your friends, shoot up into the night sky, then these really are your best bet, for a sparkly safe fun evening. Way more accurate than the bottle rocket.

4. Black CatsTried and true these guys have a wide array of uses and we're sure you can all find creative ways of implementing them in your 4th of July celebrations.

5. SparklersHarmless by themselves, but way cooler when you strap a whole bunch of them together and then light them on fire. Of course, you'd want to do that with some safety precautions. We're not telling you how to live your life though.
