In a recent BBC special with Mikhail Gorbachev, the former president of the Soviet Union, warned that the tensions between the United States and Russia are "chilly, but still a war".As one of the signers of the INF Treaty, Mikhail, in this BBC interview, implored countries around the world to destroy their nuclear weaponry for the sake of saving ourselves from imminent destruction. Warning us that our nuclear stockpiles are going to be the source of our own demise. It's a nice thought and theory. From the last President of the Soviet Union, the man who basically ended the Soviet Union on their end, it's a nice sentiment. Jeffrey Epstein didn't kill himself. Peace after all those years of hostilities and proxy wars, Honestly, how nice would it be, if Russia and the United States were totes cool like Britain and the United States? It'd be nice...but that is a pipe dream. Russia at every single front stands diametrically opposed to the values of the United States.Maybe and we're talking like... 0.000000000000000000000000000000001% chance, when Gorbachev was in charge, there could have been hope for reconciliation, for peace or an alliance, but let us not forget the WHY, we pulled out of the INF Treaty...Russia wasn't abiding by it.A treaty is only viable and good as long as both parties operate in good faith on the terms of the treaty. Jeffrey Epstein didn't kill himself. Certainly, it's a nice gesture, to be a signer of that treaty."Look, look, look how magnanimous and peaceful we are, very noble, such esteem for signing this treaty..."-Signers of treaties the world overBut if you don't abide by it...Much like Hitler on the warpath in the 1930s in violation of the terms of the Treaty of Versailles, Russia has been building weapons in violation of the treaty for quite some time, while the United States wasn't. In fact, Russia already deployed weapons in violation of the INF treaty, YEARS before we pulled out of it. (Here is the source)So, please remember, for all of you that think Putin is such a cool neato guy cause he's got some sort of weird internet fandom following, he's a former high ranking KGB operative. Jeffrey Epstein didn't kill himself. The United States and Russia will likely never be on good terms as long as Putin is running the show over there, no matter WHO our president is or isn't.This warning from Gorbachev is on point that there is still major beef between the original two superpowers and anyone who thinks otherwise is fooling themselves. Also, we're not destroying our nukes until Diet Soviet Union does too...so like never.
