Aggression. At some point, you may be called upon to do what I talked about in Part Three. In ground combat, you may have to kill someone. Now I could get on a soapbox and rant and rave about how so and so says they've killed "x" amount of people but their buddy who was with them is like "dude that's total bullshit he was a damn cook." That's not what this piece is about though. It's about the fact that somewhere deep in your soul at some point, if you choose this life (notice all of the qualifiers), find yourself in a situation that warrants it, you're going to have to send someone to the great beyond.There is nothing inherently wrong with it, in war. Don't come back here and think it's cool to just ghost dudes because they cut you off in traffic. You make us all look like a bunch of unstable assholes.There needs to be some sort of aggression built into your personality though. When the time comes, if it ever comes for you (like something stupid ridiculous %90 of dudes that are infantry haven't fired their weapon in anger, it's weird I know), you're going to need to be ok with pulling the trigger. Also, in some way, you're going to have to prepare yourself beforehand that it's a real possibility that you're going to go the rest of your life knowing you've taken a human life.Do you want to know an even more alarming opinion/fact? Let me digress right quick, I say opinion/fact because being in this line of work you get to know enough people that have racked up some actual impressive enemy body counts and you've talked with them about this situation enough to have some validity to the opinion, but I didn't do a real psychological peer-reviewed study, so you can take my opinion and tell it to eat shit and die. I don't care. Anyways getting back to the opinion/fact, a lot of guys don't give two shits about the guys they wasted overseas.I say a lot rather than most because I don't know most trigger pullers, but I know a lot of trigger pullers and a lot of them when asked if it bothers them...not in the least. Sleep super well at night.A few dudes it bothers due to their culture and upbringing, but you never really know how it will affect you until you pulled the trigger.True story. Be aggressive, B-E aggressive!
