This sounds like a really cool movie. "Strykers to Europe Part Deux" right? No? Ok, anyways the U.S. Army has fielded a new Stryker Fighting Vehicle and it's got Hellfire missiles on board. Weapons designers must have the most fun, seriously."Hey there Dave what should we do to counter this Russian aggression?""Well Bob, I think we should put some Hellfire missiles on this fighting vehicle that's already slain hundreds in the Iraq/Afghanistan war, and see how it plays out.""Excellent IDEA, Dave!"All joking aside the Russians are (and always have been) our biggest adversary, the only war they've ever really lost was the Cold War and that whole Bolshevik revolution etc... Russia is a force to be reckoned with and Secretary of Defense James Mattis referencing the Crimean issue, "They say they have nothing to do with what's going on with the separatists in eastern Ukraine; I'm not sure how they can say that with a straight face." It is even more apparent that Russia is ramping up to at least TRY to re-establish itself as the counter to the United States.
However it's going to be a little more difficult with these new Strykers headed to Europe as the vehicle has proven to be a great asset in the Global War on Terror, now outfitted with the extremely capable and deadly Hellfire missile, these vehicles will be a stalwart defense against both tanks and aircraft that Russia could send should things escalate. This plan while we're not exactly sure who ordered it, seems to be very much in character with SecDef Mattis' old saying "Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everyone you meet."Be wary Russia, we're being polite and we're being professional, but with the capabilities of these new Strykers deploying to Europe, we definitely have a plan to kill whoever we meet.
