Realizing that our nation needed a tangible approach to appreciating the sacrifice of our military heroes, his Gold Star father George, went about that task. Soon after, on Memorial Day 2008, the Honor and Remember flag was unveiled publicly; established to become our nation’s unified expression of appreciation. Now after sixteen years the flag is recognized nationally and formally by legislation in 28 states.
From Oct 7-21, 2024, All proceeds from the sale of the Honor and Remember Grunt Style gear goes directly to the mission of recognizing America’s military fallen heroes and their families. Programs include establishing a national symbol of remembrance, educating our nation on the importance of sacrifice, presenting personalized flags to all fallen family members and creating opportunities of comfort which include tribute events across the country.
