The Glorious Return Of The DeLorean
Ever since Back To The Future first came to theaters in 1985 the Delorean has been a thing of legends. The car that you could travel through time with and look cool (sorta) doing it. While the car itself wasn't the pinnacle of mechanical engineering or performance, or even looks for that matter, it will still go down in history as a cool ride...but that's not the point damn it! The point is that every boy and teenager wanted one at some point in their life! Now, we get to see the Return Of The DeLorean!Either way, we're pretty excited to see it returning to production!
From wtkr.comThe DeLorean hasn’t been made for about 35 years but the DeLorean Motor Company in Humble, Texas will be pumping out new cars very soon.Until now, the company had been refurbishing existing DeLoreans that were shipped in from around the world.Now the company will build about 300 replica 1982 DeLoreans under a low volume manufacturing bill approved by the federal government.“It’s fantastic. It is a game-changer for us. We’ve been wanting this to happen,” DeLorean CEO Stephen Wynne said. “That was a green light to go back into production. That was prohibited.
